- Choose one trained leader.
- Review the job and safety plan first.
- Wear proper protective equipment.
Control the Area
- Keep children and animals outside the work zone.
- Use cones and signs around hazards.
- Keep exits and walkways clear.
Handle Tools Safely
- Use only the correct tool for each task.
- Never carry sharp tools while running or jumping.
- Store cords and tools when finished.
Stop for Danger
- Stop if equipment is damaged or wet.
- Never touch an unknown or fallen wire.
- Call a qualified adult for help.
